Kellie Creamer – Healthy Lifestyle Designer, is passionate about the human body, health and well being and has dedicated her career to helping people live healthier lives. As a nutritionist, and health and wellness educator, Kellie has had the opportunity to work with, teach, and learn from an incredible and diverse range of individuals, she has counseled people on nutrition, cooking and wellness at schools and universities, in private homes, businesses, health clubs, yoga centers, clinics, hospitals, senior centers, food banks, and homeless shelters. She has a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science and a certification in Ayurvedic Medicine from Bastyr University; she also holds a Masters degree in International Community Health from the University of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and is a member of the Society for Nutrition Education.
Kellie authored the book My Body, My Vehicle, a guide that provides simple and digestible steps to get on and stay on the highway to health and is currently working on a second edition. She’s fascinated with the human body and wants everyone to feel comfortable with their very own one of kind work of art.
One of her most rewarding roles was developing a nutrition education program for Washington State University Extension in Tacoma, WA. She helped the University of Washington convert to a whole foods hospital kitchen, and counseled clients at the Bainbridge Athletic Club and Element 7 Wellness. She was also responsible for writing and administering grants to help landmine victims in Afghanistan and Burma and is a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Cote d’Ivoire. As part of her calling to help create healthy communities, she currently also works to support disease surveillance in post Ebola West Africa.
Kellie has always felt a little ahead of her time, she worked at a health food store in high school and started meditating at the age of 16 when her mother gave her the book “Siddhartha.” She’s a free spirit with a wealth of experience; she’s a certified makeup artist, studied organic gardening at Bastyr University, Spanish in Guatemala, French in Senegal and bicycled through the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. She is a loving mother to her son and active member of her community.
Kellie’s friendly, outgoing nature brings a breath of freshness and perspective to her clients and she is happy to share with you her insights into Ayurvedic nutrition, special diets, optimal health & well being, weight management, athletic performance, eating disorders, easing into age, food allergies and intolerances, natural makeup, simple style, meditation and mindfulness.
